Stainless steel is generally regarded as the best material to use in a commercial kitchen environment. All good quality kitchen equipment is made of stainless steel, especially where it comes into direct contact with food - such as in the interior of a fridge. Stainless steel is harder wearing, easier to clean, more hygienic and lasts longer than Aluminium.

Precision’s upright gastronorm cabinet and gastronorm counter refrigerators are designed to operate between -2ºC and +4ºC meaning they can be used to store, General Produce, Meat or Fish products. Our competitor’s refrigerators are only capable of +1°/+4°C, due to the lack of a superior heated defrost system which is fitted as standard on the Precision units.

Precision’s products typically come with more shelves. For example, our one door upright fridge comes with 4 shelves compared to 3 from most of our competitors. This effectively gives you a free 1/3 extra usable capacity.

This ensures an even temperature distribution throughout the cabinet as the cold air only has to circulate across a maximum of two sections. In turn, this allows for shorter overall counter lengths - as evaporators are positioned in the “dead” space in-between doors. Additionally, drawers (2) and (3) drawer sets can be positioned in place of any door without blocking airflow and reducing the refrigeration system’s performance.

Left or right hand condensing units - assists with kitchen layouts at no extra cost!

Variable temperature models - can be a fridge or a freezer at the flick of a switch.

Optional counter depths - choice of 520 or 670mm deep when space is at a premium.

Removable/Extended work tops - counters can be supplied without a worktop , or with an extended worktop, to help fit in with other equipment and fabrication.
