As a result, upright gastronorm cabinets, gastronorm prep counters and even the smaller 150 litre (5cu.ft) under counter refrigerator and deep freeze units will be manufactured with stainless steel interiors and exteriors as standard - yet they’ll be more competitive than our competition's lower specification entry level models. By increasing the standard specification (hence reducing the number of model variations), we have seen improved efficiencies and are able to pass these on, in the way of better prices. Additionally, from a commercial perspective – fewer models to build and stock means less wasted floor space and therefore less cash tied up in producing and financing stock - so again better prices.
On top of that, the latest upright refrigerator models (now M spec. MPT 601 SS and MPT 1401 SS) are more versatile thanks to their up-rated refrigeration systems and temperature controllers. These systems allow our refrigerator models to operate at temperatures between -2°C and +4°C, so that they can cope with any chilled storage requirement. (standard commercial cabinets normally have restricted operating ranges of +1/+4°C; 0/+3°C and -2/+2°C).
We are the real alternative to currently more expensive British manufacturers / brand leaders, with higher specifications and lower prices. In addition, with the weak pound, imports are becoming increasing more expensive too; that’s European and Chinese manufacturers alike. |
